Project: Secondary Clarifiers No. 1 and No. 2 Rehabilitation
Engineer approved 100% solids elastomeric polyurethane coating for Concrete:
Utilithane® 1600 Polyurethane Coating at 125-150 Mils
Goal:
Rehabilitation of Concrete Clarifiers No. 1 & No. 2 Launder Channels.
Completed 2021 South San Francisco WWTP Clarifier Rehabilitation with Utilithane® 1600 Polyurethane Coating applied at 125-150 Mils. The Clarifier’s are 110 feet in diameter. The Utilithane® 1600 Polyurethane Coating was applied to both Clarifiers back to back and on schedule.

The Clarifier Launder Channels were draped in a protective canopy. The project is adjacent to the San Francisco Bay with weather issues being high humidity, wide temperature swings and un-predictable winds. The protective canopy enabled the project to be completed in record time through elimination of adverse weather conditions
