Utilithane® Polyurethane Coatings for Manholes and related Concrete Structures

Application of Utilithane® Polyurethane Coatings to Sanitation Wastewater Manholes and related Structures are performed by specialized and exclusive Utilithane® Certified Applicators.

Utilithane® Polyurethane Coatings were tested and approved by the City of Los Angeles back in 2005 for Sanitation Wastewater Applications. Testing is to SSPWC 211-2 (pickle jar test) and is a pass. Uilithane® Polyurethane Coatings are Hydrogen Sulfide resistant.

The City of Los Angeles operates one of the largest Sanitation Wastewater Systems in the world servining the needs of more than four million customers in Los Angeles, plus 29 contracting cities and agencies.

The City of San Diego evaluated the Utilithane® Polyurethane Coating during 2005-2007 and also approved the Utilithane® Polyurethane Coating for Sanitation Wastewater Applications.

The City of San Diego Metropolitan Sewerage System serves the greater San Diego population of 2.2 million from 16 cities and districts.

Utilithane® Polyurethane Coatings are typically applied at 125 Mil - 1/8 inch thickness for Manholes.
The Utilithane® Polyurethane Coating has been applied to the outside surfaces also, as the Pump Station is being installed in an area with very high water table.
